Sarah and Brian had an awesome autumn wedding. They planned the look of the day around the autumn colours they new would be creeping in by October, and the team of family and friends that came to support them was fantastic. Brian’s relatives even flew in from Jamaica! (And they even toughed out the freezing Canadian winds for a family portrait!) I’ve never been to a wedding with a steel-pan drummer before, but it was so much fun. I’ve also never been to a wedding with three Erika’s; the maid of honour, the site coordinator, and myself. (Note: A special thanks goes to Erika at King’s Riding for giving me a crash-course in golf-cart driving.)
Sarah and Brian are a strong lady and a wonderful gentleman, and it’s so clear that each has a deep respect for the other. They are both funny, and hard-working, and thoughtful. Sarah told me it was hard not to get emotional during the ceremony because Brian was looking “too deeply” into her eyes. I don’t think that’s a bad problem to have, and bodes well for the rest of your life together!
